Weep Not for Me

Weep not for me

For I am not gone

To be with me

You have only to look

With new eyes

And to listen

With fresh ears

I am in the smile

Of a new baby

As I am in the shuffle

Of an old man

Hear my whisper in the whir

Of sun-drunk bees,

My chuckle in the pulse

Of a tumbling stream

And when you least expect it

Find me there

There in the crumbling stones of a castle

There in an Irish song, sung deep and slow

There among shadows and light

There in the space between all sound

There I am

Weep not for me

For I am not gone

I am with you  now, only everywhere
