The Redheaded Kindergarten Love Girl

Updated: Dec 4, 2021

I have a safe kind of fetish

But it is powerful and tugs at me often:

Pale skin the color of milk fresh from the fridge

Does the most unnatural things to me

Everyone who I’ve ever dated has had this

Clorox color…

Except one and she more than Out-Stripped the requirements

She showed me to Have and Have not

Tangents

I think I’ve figured out why…

A redheaded kindergarten lovegirl

When I was young, formative five

Had no bones about liking me

And knowing what she did

When she did, left me breathless

When she held my hand and told

Jokes that only five year olds laugh at

But I never forgot the feel of her skin

Her hand felt like water in Moab, wet melting snow

The third Hershey’s syrup sundae

And rain in July

Eureka

Eureka, indeed, Griff! What a special memory from long ago that endures. We should all be so blessed.
